Mac builds his resilience and confidence
Mac’s sister referred him to YFS based on her own experience with the YFS Connect team. She felt that Youthlink could help Mac build his resilience and confidence.
Kia from Youthlink worked with Mac and his family to build his support systems. She helped them access NDIS support, referred him to an Occupational Therapist, and worked with Mac on his social skills.
Mac struggled with his emotions and day to day tasks. Now he has built up his confidence so much that he can advocate for himself. When he recently applied for his first job, he aced the interview and was hired straight away.
