Social service organisation YFS has launched a new system to makes lives easier for clients.
The YFS Connect system has “streamlined” the process of getting help for clients when they first walk in the door, YFS Executive manager client services, Camila Aldred said.
“YFS Connect operates as our front door,” Mrs Aldred said.
“People don’t have to know what they’re looking for specifically… we just need people to talk to us about what is it that might help them.
“We’re the ones who guide them, either by giving them information or linking them with a service that’s going to be relevant.
“It’s more comprehensive because … we can introduce them right then and there with the person who is going to be working with them.
“We’ve seen over time that if the client can be introduced to the person they’re going to be working with, then there’s a greater likelihood of them coming back.”
